New for 2010 is Stack’s enhanced range of Clubman 3 and Pro 4 DVR’s . Designed and made in the UK they all benefit from Stack’s traditional high end and robust build quality, ultra reliability and slim design. In addition, they have specifications, features and prices which are aimed specifically at the motorsport market.
Both the Clubman 3 and Pro 4 capture “TV HD broadcast quality video” up to 10Mbs (Club) and 12Mbs (Pro) recording direct onto compact flash memory card. Anything above 8Mbs is equivalent to full HD recording quality. Uniquely, both these broadcast industry standard MPEG2 DVR’s are the first to offer both standard 4:3 aspect ratio (720x576@25fps) and 16:9 wide screen aspect ratio (720x400@25fps) as a configurable recording option.
Amazingly both DVR’s have a multi camera processor built into the DVR housing, the Clubman 3 can accept up to 3 camera inputs and the Pro4 –up to 4 camera inputs as standard. As a result, you can upgrade, for example a 2 camera Club system to a 3 camera system or a 3 camera Pro system to a 4 camera Pro system at a later date simply by adding an extra camera and mount.
Simple to use set up software enables you to create your own screen lay positioning, cutting, cropping and scaling individual camera images as required.
The Clubman 3 wiring harness connects to the DVR via a 15 way D connector and the Pro4 DVR uses military specification Deutsch Autosport Mil connectors. Whilst the Clubman3 does not have full IP67 waterproof accreditation it does benefit from a sealed housing and sealed CF door, the Pro4 DVR does benefit from full IP67 waterproof accreditation and a higher operating temperature range.
Record activation can be triggered using the included 2 way on/off toggle switch with status LED or by configuring the built in G sensor.
